A fixed flat roof window is a non-opening skylight unit designed to sit flush or nearly flush with flat roof surfaces. It allows overhead daylight into interior spaces without relying on operable sashes, hinges or sliding tracks. This stationary design simplifies roof integration and reduces potential air leakage points around the opening area.

The window body is installed horizontally within the roof plane rather than as a protruding vertical structure. Reliable waterproofing is critical for fixed roof windows because they are directly exposed to rain, snow, solar radiation and temperature changes.
